Ribbonworks are a family run business and we have been successfully designing, producing and supplying passes, delegate badges and holders to companies, organisations, clubs, teams, interest groups and individuals across the UK and beyond for over two decades. Since 2003 we have been trusted by UK and international businesses and organisations, both large and small, to design and deliver their custom branded lanyards, ID cards and ID accessories on time and on budget.

Your custom branded lanyards or double clip conference lanyards can be paired with our extensive range of coloured rigid plastic ID card holders, available in a range of popular colours, in both portait or landscape orientation and with the ability to hold one or two cards. We also stock fully enclosed clear plastic ID card holders for those occasions where an ID card or pass needs additional protection. Both types of ID card holder are the ideal accessory for displaying an ID card or proximity pass. Our range of retractable badge reels are available in either plain colours or with custom branding. Our collection of soft, flexible PVC wallets are best suited to printed name badges or printed inserts such as our plastic conference badges or laminated card trade show passes. These are available in a wide selection of different shapes and sizes and we also stock matching A4 perforated insert sheets for each size of PVC wallet, which can be self printed on most home and office printers. As well as being held in stock for same day dispatch and express delivery, all of our plastic ID card holders and soft PVC wallets are sold in bags of ten unlike other vendors who often have much higher minium order quantities.

Retractable lanyards, also known as direct reel lanyards or badge reel lanyards, can be custom branded with your logo or matched to your chosen colours. They feature a printed ID cards or name badges, personalised with photos, names and job titles, single or double sided, printed on credit card sized cards to your specific requirements. We are also able to offer more generic branded passes or proximity cards for your attendees, staff, volunteers or team members, ensuring brand and colour consistency across both your branded lanyards and ID cards or name badges. We can either design and print ID cards as a one off order or our our ID bureau services allow us to help you in managing your ID requirements, including the design and distribution of cards on an ad-hoc basis, so you can easily order additional cards for new employees, volunteers or team members as required. Additionally we can design and produce a range of other printed plastic cards including membership cards, proximity access cards, loyalty cards and much more.

In recent years we have been expanding our range of environmentally friendly custom branded lanyards and environmentally friendly plain unprinted lanyards as we all become more aware of the need to be sustainable in our daily lives. These ranges now include lanyards made from sustainable and biodegradable bamboo fibre and lanyards made from recycled plastic such as old plastic drinks bottles. Additionally, whilst most lanyards can be added to local recycling we also offer a recycling option for those customers who cannot recycle in their local community. Double clip versions of each style of lanyard are also available, ensuring that a pass or ID card is always front facing; these are best suited to conferences or other events where a front facing pass is important.
