Significant Drop in Ad Revenue
The owner of the Daily Mail has announced a significant drop in ad revenue over recent weeks, saying that they will have to cut costs by £50 million this year to effectively deal with this decline.
In a trading update, DMGT reported that ad revenue at publishing division DMG Media had dropped by 10% in the third quarter of 2016. This compared to ad revenue being down 4% for the year to date, as well as a 12% drop in print advertising.
Many businesses seem to disregard the fact that they do not have to spend millions of pounds on advertising to be successful. For example, Ribbonworks.co.uk has an extensive range of top quality products available to promote a business or its products at very affordable prices. Our lanyards and wristbands are great examples. If you would like a quote on any of our products, contact us today for more information.
