Lanyards - Environmentally Friendly

Our new range of eco-friendly lanyards are produced using bamboo fibre, which is 100% sustainable and fully biodegradable. Our "green" lanyards are made from bamboo fibre.

We have tried many different supposedly eco-friendly materials, but bamboo is the only one we have tested which has true "green" credentials, and also produces a fabric up to the usual Ribbonworks high standards.

Bamboo is a grass, and is very abundant and fast growing, and requires no fertiliser or pesticide. The plant is harvested in much the same way as you might mow a lawn - chop it off at the base, and it rapidly grows back, making it an 100% sustainable resource.

The production of the fibre does not use any harmful chemicals, and as it is composed of 100% cellulose, it can be 100% biodegraded in soil by microorganisms and sunshine.
